Just as real estate is local so is politics. Just as real estate goes in cycles so does politics. Local economies affect the real estate market local economies affect politics and both go in cycles. The pendulum is about to swing.

Whether you're from a red state or a blue state, conservative or liberal, republican or democrat we're all Americans! Get out and vote today!

Nope.  I'm against all "get out the vote" campaigns.

We are governed well by the politicians who are elected by thinking voters.  We don't need "get out the vote" campaigns to bring us out.  We vote because we care, not because we are caught up in a campaign.

Today, the numbers of voters who are illegal is daunting.  There is so much fraud in the states' election management, the numbers don't necessarily represent legitimate voter sentiment.  They represent a series of manipulation, imtimidation and out right law breaking, just for the numbers.

I'm jaded.

Mitch,

It's OK.  The voters in New York are pretty smart, at least I thought I was back when I voted there!

I'm off to a battleground state to do poll watching.  It'll be fun.  I have the afternoon shift.

And Lenn, don't get me started on voter fraud!

Hi Lenn and Pat,

I'm about to go vote now. I have a foreign buyer in town, so I have a busy day.

Lenn, I tend to think the 100 or so readers of my blog are people who care.

Pat, Have fun. Tonight I am going to an election night dinner party.
