Michele, I think pools are still the best way for New Yorkers to cool off during the hot summer.

But I just read about New York's first Ice Bar. Minus5 Bar. They give you a parka at the door and it's decorated in arctic ice @ 23 degrees. What will they think of next?

Hi A, Those apartments do look gorgeous!

Mitchell -- that is great looking, and seems to have a bit of something for everyone.  The tall walls would look good covered in books, my wife would love the fireplace and I would appreciate the pool.  I just don't think she wants to pay that kind of money for a house in NYC.

Mitchell, it would never occur to me that a Manhattan apartment would have a private pool!  These are amazing.

Why of course when money is no object a city condo and private pool would be on my list of must have's.

Wow - those pictures are something. I thought I had seen something like that showcased on T.V. once. Amazing what you can own if you have a little something in your pocket.
